The story

Inside SM Line

SM Line was established in 2016 when South Korea’s SM Group acquired assets and services from the collapsed Hanjin Shipping, once a global top-ten carrier. It relaunched Korean-flag services on key transpacific and intra-Asia trades.

Today SM Line operates a focused network built around Korea’s export economy, blending transpacific reach with dense regional coverage.
